RANGE AND MATERIALS
Steel lighting poles for roads and open areas.
This range covers street light poles for roads, access roads and parking areas, and high-mast poles for wide open areas such as junctions, yards and squares. Poles are made to the height, arm arrangement and finish agreed for each project; the references above show appearance options, not fixed specifications.
Street light poles
Single-arm, twin-arm and decorative-arm poles, typically 3 m to 15 m high, in round conical or polygonal sections formed from Q235 or Q355 steel. Wall thickness, arm outreach and luminaire spigots are matched to the height and the luminaires specified. Eleven references (RP-01 to RP-11) show the arm styles.
High-mast lighting poles
Polygonal high masts, typically 15 m to 40 m, assembled on site from tapered sections joined by slip joints. Lighting heads can be fixed or carried on a raising and lowering ring driven by an electric winch, so floodlights are maintained at ground level. Nine references (HM-01 to HM-09) show head arrangements.
Galvanizing and coating
Poles and arms are hot-dip galvanized inside and outside after fabrication, and can be powder coated over the zinc in a RAL colour. State the standard your project uses, such as ISO 1461 or ASTM A123; under ISO 1461, steel thicker than 6 mm needs a mean zinc coating of at least 85 µm.
Base plates, bolts and luminaires
Each pole has a welded base plate and can be supplied with anchor bolts, nuts and washers to suit your foundation design. LED luminaires can be supplied from established brands or by your nominated supplier, with spigot sizes matched in advance.
Documents you can review
Our ISO 9001 certificate covers the production of lighting poles, LED street lights, solar street lights and monitoring poles. The document centre also holds 2015 inspection reports for a 7 m single-arm pole and for lighting pole coating. Drawings, material certificates and galvanizing records can be agreed for each order.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Define your lighting pole requirements.
Provide the information available to review the pole specification, site conditions and supply scope.
-
Pole specifications
Provide the design reference, height, section dimensions, material and finish. For road poles, include arm quantity and outreach; for high masts, identify the lighting-head arrangement.
-
Installation and structure
Share luminaire connections, flange and bolt layouts, and access requirements. Include specified wind loads and confirm responsibility for foundation and structural design.
-
Supply and project documents
List the poles, arms, brackets, base hardware and lighting components required, including items supplied by others. Add quantity, target delivery date and any inspection or documentation requirements.
Lighting pole FAQs
Can I specify galvanising, coating or colour?
Yes. Include the surface treatment, coating system or colour reference required. Process scope, inspections and supply responsibilities are agreed for each order.
Can I use existing pole or foundation drawings?
Yes. Identify the drawing and its required dimensions, connections and specifications. Confirm responsibility for foundation and structural design, and any review or documentation required.
Which pole heights and sections can you supply?
Street light poles are typically 3 m to 15 m and high masts 15 m to 40 m, in round conical or polygonal sections. The final height, wall thickness and base plate follow your lighting design and site wind conditions.
Are anchor bolts and base plates included?
Yes. Base plates are welded to the pole, and anchor bolts, nuts and washers can be supplied as a set when listed in your enquiry. Foundation design responsibility is agreed before ordering.
What wind load information should I provide?
Provide the design wind speed or wind load, the design code and any calculations or drawings you need with the poles. Structural responsibility and the documents supplied are agreed before ordering.
