SYSTEM OPTIONS

Three ways to supply solar street lighting.

Choose a split system, an all-in-one light or solar support poles only. Panel, battery and luminaire sizes are set from your project location and lighting schedule rather than taken from a fixed catalogue rating.

Split solar street lights

The solar panel sits on a bracket at the pole top and the LED luminaire on the arm, with a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery and controller in the pole or a battery box. Separate components allow larger panels and batteries for long nights or cloudy seasons. Eight references (SS-01 to SS-08) show arm and panel arrangements.

All-in-one solar street lights

The panel, LED module, LiFePO4 battery and controller share one housing, usually with a microwave motion sensor for dimming. Installation needs only a pole-top or side-entry bracket, which suits paths, residential roads and remote sites.

Solar support poles only

For projects that buy panels and luminaires elsewhere, we supply the steel pole only (SP-01), hot-dip galvanized and drilled for the panel bracket and arm you specify.

Sizing the system

Send the project location, nightly lighting hours, dimming profile and the number of cloudy days the light must run without sun. These figures set the panel wattage, battery capacity and luminaire output.

Documents you can review

Our ISO 9001 certificate covers the production of solar street lights, LED street lights and lighting poles, and the document centre holds 2015 test reports for a 12 V 80 Ah battery and an SK-80 photovoltaic module. Data sheets for the selected configuration can be agreed for each order.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

Specify the right solar lighting solution.

Provide the site conditions and operating requirements needed to define your system specification.

  1. Project site

Provide the project location, lighting application and installation conditions, with site drawings or reference images where available.

  2. System and mounting requirements

Specify support poles only, a split system or an all-in-one system. Include panel orientation, mounting connections, and battery and controller locations where applicable.

  3. Operation and supply

For complete systems, specify lighting hours, dimming and required operation during periods of limited sunlight. Include supply items, quantity and target delivery date.

Solar lighting FAQs

Do these references define the system specification?

No. The images illustrate appearance and arrangement. Provide the project location, lighting requirements and operating schedule for system specification review.

Which battery and control requirements should I provide?

Specify the battery type, operating schedule, dimming and required backup duration, where defined. If these are undecided, describe the application for review.

What is the difference between split and all-in-one solar street lights?

A split system keeps the panel, luminaire and battery separate, so each can be sized and angled for the site. An all-in-one light combines them in one housing for faster installation. Higher outputs and longer autonomy usually favour split systems.

Can I order poles only for a solar project?

Yes. Solar support poles are supplied separately from system components. Tell us which panel and luminaire you will mount and how they connect to the pole.
