ABOUT THIS RANGE
Lighting poles that carry more than lights.
Smart poles combine street lighting with equipment such as LED display screens, CCTV cameras, traffic signals, wireless antennas and EV charging, with cabling and equipment compartments inside one pole. The five smart pole designs and one EV charging unit below come from our factory catalogue (pages 10–11).
Typical applications
Urban streets, business districts, campuses, transport hubs and car parks where lighting, information, surveillance and charging share one pole.
Pole construction
Smart poles use the same hot-dip galvanized steel construction as our street light poles, with modular mounting points and access doors for each device. Our patents include a smart lighting pole with waterproofing and heat dissipation.
What to specify
List each device to be integrated with its size, weight and supplier; the equipment compartment and cable routes; power and data connections; and the pole height, arm and luminaire.
